No-Show & Late Cancellation Policy
At The Denture Clinic, Broadstairs we value your time and strive to provide the best possible care to all our patients. In order to ensure that we can accommodate all of our patients effectively, we have implemented the following No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy:
- Appointment Confirmation: An email confirmation and appointment reminder is sent out 48 hours before your appointment at The Denture Clinic.
- No-Show Definition: A "No-Show" is defined as a patient who misses their scheduled appointment without giving prior notice or fails to cancel within the acceptable time frame (24 hours).
- Late Cancellations: A cancellation is considered "late" if it occurs less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
- Deposit Requirement for Rebooking: If you miss your appointment without prior notice or fail to cancel within 24 hours, a £50 deposit will be required to reschedule your appointment. This deposit will be applied towards the cost of your treatment upon arrival. However, if the appointment is missed again without proper notice, the deposit will be forfeited.
- Exception for Emergencies: We understand that emergencies happen. If you miss an appointment due to an emergency or illness, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis.
- Reason for the Policy: No-shows and late cancellations result in wasted time and prevent us from offering the slot to another patient in need of care. This policy is in place to ensure that our resources are used effectively and that we can continue providing high-quality service to all our patients.
